Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!
My name is Dave Plante and I have been a proud Malta resident for over 20 years. Along with my wife Sarah, I am a proud parent of our dog Sadie and our cats Pepper and Tessie. I am an alumnus of the Ballston Spa High School and I hold a Bachelors in Environmental Studies from Siena College and a Masters in Regional Planning from the University of Albany. Currently I am a Land Use Planner for a local consulting firm. I try to stay active in the community, serving as the Vice President-Elect of the Malta Sunrise Rotary and an active member of the Malta Business & Professional Association, the Malta Trails Committee the Capital District Planning Association and the Siena College Environmental Studies Department Community Advisory Board. I also served on the Board of Directors of the Ballston Spa Junior Baseball League and as the Chairman of the League’s Rules, Ethics & Discipline Committee. Currently, I coach the 18U Ballston Spa Scotties Sr. Babe Ruth baseball team.
